I just thought I'd give you some news. I have a new CD coming out on Feb 7th. It's called "What's Going On? Songs of Marvin Gaye." It's a very hip and forward looking view of Marvin Gaye Songs. Kind of like a 21st century view of Marvin's songs. I have some new and interesting artists on the CD as well as some established artists. Marcus played on two songs. I felt I needed a hit vibe for the Song "What's Going On" and who else can make that happen better than Marcus. I also did a version of "Heavy Love Affair" which is not a well known Marvin song but it's really funky. I have Marcus with DJ Logic and James D Train Williams on vocals. I could have ended the song at about 3 minutes but I extended it to 5:20 because Marcus was just rocking the track so I created an extended jam for 2:20 so Marcus, Logic, myself and Sherrod Barnes could jam - it's happening.
